about me
The Into
Well, hello again. I am John Paul Scarpatti, a senior at Battlefield High School, located in Haymarket, Virginia. Being my senior year, it has come to my attention that, inregards to my Information Technology Profile, the best way to publish and present the information would be via a web site...And so here we are.
Early Childhood
I was born February 22, 1990 in Orlando, Florida. After living in Orlando for several years, my family drove out to Scottsdale, Airizona to live and be near my grandparents. We then moved to Mesa Airizona, approixamitly 30 minutes from Scottsdale to live in a different neighborhood. My father then accepted a job with AT&T, and was soon promotted and given a job opprotunity out on the east coast in Massachusetts.
After being promotted several times again in Massachusetts, my father was offered another job opprotunity with AT&T in the Washington D.C. area. We once again packed our bags and moved to Springfield, Virginia. It was here that my younger sister, Francesca, was born. I was enrolled from first to sixth grade in Springfield when my parents decided that they wanted a real home for my sister and I to be brought up in. After looking all over Northern Virginia, they had finally decided to call home in a neighboring town to Manassass- Bristow.
Junior High
I origionally attended Benton Middle School in Prince William County, but was transfered to Marsteller after the construction of the new building. I then attended Marsteller from sixth to eigth grade, during which time I maintained a high GPA and academic performance which was transferred to my high school career. I was consistantly on the Honor Roll. I was then presented with the option of attending Battlefield High School for its now renowned IT Program, or Brentsville Dristrict High School for the Cambridge program. At the time, I had little to no idea on what I would want to persue in life, so I decided to attend Brentsville. With the Cambridge Program, I would better ready myself for college.
High School
Brentsville Districh High School (BDHS) was quiet a shocking experience for me. I found that the world is still an extremely racists place, and that not everything is made out to be how it actually is. I found that the majority of the classes were too easy- lacking any sort of interests from the teachers and other students. With the taste of discouragement in my mouth, I decided to transfer to Battlefield High School and enroll in the Information Technology Program, obtaining several certifications and experiences with current technologies.
BHS has been a unique experience. It definetly brings to mind the sterotypical high school experience. All of the drama and biterness while inividuales attempt to become individualistic in nature while being submitted to peer presures and an oppressive administration. Ahh high school. Such a microrganism. All of the pieces intermingled and winded to create a truely unique experience. The IT department is great, however. Our teacher has pushed the state and county to make the IT Department what it is today, and has a true care of the growth of the students. Not only in their education, but also in their character.
